The Radian® Magazine Base Pad is a direct replacement part for the Glock® G43X® & G48™ OEM magazines. The Radian® base pad adds weight to the bottom of the magazine which aids in dropping empty magazines. A larger grip surface allows users to index spare magazines from holsters for quicker reloads while also being able to easily extract a stuck magazine.

2 – G43X/G48 OEM Magazine Base Pads
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 | Remove the OEM magazine floor plate by depressing the detent in the center of the plate with a punch (or similar tool) while simultaneously applying downward pressure (pushing towards the front of the magazine). Medium to strong pressure is needed to get the retaining ears on the magazine to unseat from the cavities on the OEM base plate. After the tabs are unseated, remove the punch and the OEM magazine base plate should slide off the front of the magazine. Squeezing the magazine body directly above the base plate can make removal easier.
Step 2 | Keeping the factory spring, follower, and detent plate in place, depress the spring and detent plate. Slide the Radian Magazine Base Pad onto the front of the magazine until the detent snaps into place on the base pad. Some pressure may be needed to get the base pad over the retaining ears on the magazine body.
Step 3 | To remove the Radian Magazine Base Pad, depress the detent in the center of the plate with a punch (or similar tool) while applying pressure to the rear of the baseplate. The Radian Magazine Base Pad should slide off the front of the magazine.
